Welcome to my blog! My name is Anni and I live on the West Coast of Canada with my husband, stepdaughter, and two cats.
I love the West Coast! The weather suits me perfectly; I love the rain and it never gets too hot.
So, why a blog? Well, I’ve spent years learning about food, how our body treats food, what food feels good in my body and what doesn’t. I decided it was time to share what I’d learnt! I made plenty of mistakes over the years so maybe what I’ve learned can help someone be happy in their body. In my daily life I found that I loved helping people and coaching them in different areas of their lives. This passion led me to the Primal Health Coach program so that I can learn even more and help more people!
What works for me is a whole food based keto/low carb diet with intermittent fasting (and maybe some extended fasting!). Lots of vegetables, quality protein, and all of the fat – especially bacon 😉 And then sometimes I just don’t eat! It’s insanely freeing!
Most importantly, I want this to be a safe space for everyone. We’re gonna keep it classy folks! Respect others and their opinions. We are all going through life with our own experiences and options – these are mine.
